



Saturday 15th November is a Global Day of Action, a date chosen to coincide with COP30 in Brazil. Climate protests will be taking place around the world. In the UK, there will be events in major cities demanding climate justice - currently there are plans for events in London, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Southampton, Brighton and Plymouth. INTERNATIONAL EVENTS late 2025
10-21 November 2025 COP30 (United Nations Climate Summit) in Brazil. The aim of the Councils of Parties has been to "to keep the global temperature increase well below 2 °C, with efforts to limit it to 1.5 °C". In 2024, global average temperatures first exceeded 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels for the first time in a calendar year.
10-16 November: Team up with a grandchild (or similar), and draw attention to the threat to Nature, via Community Radio: Our Earth Week – Community Radio Environment Network.
11-13 December 2025: Paris 10. Climate Grandparents groups across Europe will be marking the tenth anniversary of the signing of the Paris Climate agreement.
